Early Childhood Development & General Education and Training Directorate Back

Message from the Director
The foundation is the most important part of any building.  The same principle applies to education: What happens in the primary school has a direct influence on the achievements of learners in the high school.

The web pages for this directorate are still under construction, but very soon you will be able to access valuable materials that will enhance the development of our teachers and the performance of our learners.

Tele-collaborative Learning Back

Message from the Director
A pool of engineers and scientists is needed for the economic development of South Africa. To produce this pool learners have to take Mathematics and Science at school.

In the 21st century the use of e-Learning to enhance teaching and learning is crucial, while the establishment of district resource centres and school libraries ensures the availability of books to learners.
